Showcase for Design + Innovation Day 2021 – Viewable Online!

Some program’s projects may be available for viewing online –  see below for details.

Welcome to our fifth annual Design + Innovation Day! During their final year, most engineering students must complete a major, year-long capstone project. In small teams, they use the knowledge and skills gained during their studies, to solve challenging real-world problems proposed by community partners. At the end of the course, our partners are presented with design models and potentially a working prototype as a solution to their problem.

Experience world-class design and research projects by senior students in UBC Engineering by following the links below.

Due to current conditions with the COVID-19 outbreak, our D+ID Showcase will be online this year.

Some programs may move forward with online presentation viewing. Please continue to visit this page for the most up to date information.

This is separate from evaluated Capstone/research project requirements. Participating students will be receiving additional information from their instructors.
